"Cut and Run" is starting to sound like "A Thousand Points of Light"

Since when does a President of the United States that has created the largest national debt start quoting Harry Truman. You remember Harry Truman!! He was the President who coined the term the buck stops here!!
President Bush is a "cut and run leader of a Republican party" that increases our national debt and actually places us in a weaker position with countries like China who have invested heavily in U.S. treasury bonds. This is a President that allows a communist government to dictate the terms of our economy in the future. Just imagine what would happen to our economy if countries like China do not invest in our country with treasury bonds.

How does this President deal with the issue? He takes a "hard stand" by telling the American voter that he would not raise your taxes but quietly increase the amount of spending that is going on in Washington. It might look good to a President that only looks at polls and the next election but it is terrible for our country that must stand strong internationally while we are at war in Iraq. We have invested over $400 billion dollars in the war and many lives have been lost. Yet we continue to support a President that offers no coherent plan in Iraq. He focuses his attacks on the opposition party to avoid dealing with fact that he offers no vision for a stable Iraq.

We know the line "we will stand down when the Iraqi troops step up". That basically has been the message for the last year and a half. We have no meaningful discussion about the war because we have a political party that will criticize an opponents patriotism as they bring up weaknesses in this administration. It has worked in previous election due to Karl Rove and George Bush. They have masterfully created poll number phrases that have worked with the American people. Unfortunately they have also reached a level of incompetence that makes us wonder who is the real "cut and run party"??
